*Note: The true first name for him is unknown and sometimes he's written as "Vorle Gaudin (or Godin) de Chatillon." Vorle was the town he was from. He was a teinturier by trade which translates to a cloth dyer.

Claude Gaudin died October 13, 1654 in Chatillon, Champagne, France.

Pierre Gaudin dit Chatillon died February 20, 1700 in Rivière St-Jean, Québec.

Louis Fortin dit Lagrandeur was born circa 1647 in Ecardenville-sur-Eure, Evreux, Normandie, France and died October 5, 1687 in Lachine, Québec. Catherine Gaudin dit Chatillon died December 28, 1746 in Pointe-Claire, Québec.
